InfoGraphic Designs: Overview, Examples and Best Practices

A Primer to InfoGraphics from

Andres Ross from has written an article about information graphics entitled: InfoGraphic Designs: Overview, Examples and Best Practices. He starts with answering the questions “What is InfoGraphics” and “Why using InfoGraphics”. Then goes on with to telling a bit about its history and the different types that can be distinguished.

Don’t expect too much depth in the written part. The majority of the article are examples and best practices of information graphics. It’s certainly a broad range of examples — unfortunately the lack of well-founded information about information graphics reduces the usefulness of the article.

We’ve seen a lot of these collections lately but maybe you find something you haven’t come across yet.
